Safeguarding Support for Parents

  • “National Crime Agency’s CEOP Education team aim to help protect children and young people from online child sexual abuse. We do this through our education programme, providing training, resources and information to professionals working with children, young people and their families.”
  • NET AWARE –
  • Produced by O2 and NSPCC,  this is a guide for parents to 39 of the most popular sites, apps and games that young people use. Using reviews from adults and children, it helps parents decide if a site is right for their child, if it’s age appropriate and explores what risks they might encounter, enabling parents or professionals to help keep their children safe online. The NSPCC have just launched a refreshed Net Aware site.
  • NATIONAL ONLINE SAFETY – “National Online Safety make it our mission to make the internet a safer place for children. We believe that through our engaging Online Safety training resources for school staff, parents and children, we can make a difference.”
