Future Finders Weekly Update
Our Future Finders have had a very busy week…
Placement, job applications, employability work, Maths and English to name but a few things that they have been up to.
I am hoping you have been keeping up to date with the progress that Danielle is making at the Clean Plate Café (Oldham) as they have been sharing with us what a brilliant job that Danielle is doing – so this week I thought I would send a full update on what she has been up to and share with you some more of the lovely comments that Colette and her team have sent me personally, praising the work that Danielle is doing…
“Danielle has been at Clean Plate for a few weeks now and has settled in so well. She did her initial induction, working on the Safer Food Better Business, moving on to serving customers, preparing food, general kitchen duties and making coffees. Then this week, she has been focusing on, not only her customer service and general café duties but also her baking skills – Great British Bake Off, here we come!”
“Danielle is loving her time at Clean Plate – She feels confident there and has built some great relationships with the staff that work there! She enjoys going independently and really feels part of the team.”
Some feedback from Collette that we have received:
“No need to thank me. I need to be thanking you for this one, she’s an angel. She is so enthusiastic, so eager to get involved, looks for things to do, remembers what needs to be done. She has an amazing work ethic, she’s so lovely”
We can’t thank the staff enough for what they have done for Danielle and all our old cohorts of students.
Alongside this we have been working on our Employability qualifications, looking at professionalism in the workplace including appropriate dress, behaviours, communication, language and completing tasks – hopefully, all Future Finders will continue to put what we have learnt into practice.
Have a fab, restful weekend everyone!
