Here is the Future Finders Weekly Update from Miss Thompson…

And just like that we are back!!! I hope you had a good Summer, spending time together.

It doesn’t seem like 2 minutes since we closed for Summer, but we are back, new students, new and returning placements……it is great to have you all back!

 We have had a great week getting to know all of our new Future Finders. We have had a mixed week of class work for Employability, Maths and English, all settling in and getting ready to work.

This first week back is to allow our students to settle back in and to prepare for the term ahead. We will remain in college for next week but we will be heading out to some of our placements, were we will begin to introduce students to their placements and carry out any inductions needed with our employers over the weeks ahead.

Your child’s timetable will be as follows: –

Monday – Placement

Tuesday – Placement

Wednesday – Placement

Thursday – College Day (9.00am-3:00pm)

Friday – OFF – independent job searching

Just a couple of reminders:

Please read through the paperwork that has been sent home (Thurs 9/9/21) to you, sign and return by Monday 13th September.

Lunches (Monday – Wednesday) for placements.

All students have been given the phone number for College and for our Job Coaches. If you have any problems/questions/queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

In finishing my blog this week, we have celebrated a big milestone birthday this week – Nathan has turned 21 years young!

Happy Birthday from us all Nathan! We hope you have enjoyed all your celebrations!
